Destination - Mexico and Central America
Trip length - 4 months
Departure date - after January 7th, 2010
Our rig is a 2008 Dodge one ton pickup, 4 wheel drive, diesel, pulling a 26 foot travel trailer with one
small slideout. We would like to bring our small dog and cat with us. We are nature lovers and do
our best to stay away from major cities. We are early retirees and have spent the last three winters
in the Corpus Christi to Rockport Texas area. We would love to explore central america. My wife is
getting a little "gun shy" due to travel warnings from places like triple A and others. We are not high
pressure travelers. If we see something interesting, we stop. We don't plan any specific itinerary.
My wife would feel more secure in a caravan. We leave Wisconsin any time after Christmas and are
open to meeting places. Our original plan was to depart the U.S. at Brownsville, TX., and go south
along the gulf coast through Mexico. Anyone interested, please respond....... Thanks. John and
